
internships- the work experience
Summer & Winter Internships are a compulsory part of our system. We place the students in the actual business environment for four months of training for summer & winter Projects(two months each), besides theoretical training in the classrooms, in order to facilitate “learning” under the guidance of practicing managers.
- Summer Internships (Marketing) May & June
- Winter Internships (Specializaiton) Oct & Nov
Objectives
- It will be on the job Training experience
- To put the students in industrial environment, for a minimum of eight hours a day, besides theoretical training in the classrooms. The students can thus be groomed to be physically and mentally prepared to accept the challenges of industry and relate theoretical inputs to practical applications.
Mode of selection of students for Internship
The companies notify their vacancies to our Placement Cell and select the students according to their own selection system. Students can also approach the companies on their own and get placed for internship.
Stipend
It is left to the policy and discretion of the companies to offer stipend or any other allowance to the students.
Project Report
Students are required to submit a detailed project report to the Director on completion of their internship along with a certificate to be rendered by the concerned company.
