INTRODUCTION TO DISTANCE LEARNING

The bedrock of globalised world we live in today is the knowledge economy whereby individuals are empowered with skills and tools to successfully navigate the 21st century.  In this scenario distance mode of learning is a boon in disguise.  It is a more flexible tool of learning and a well established method of quality education.  In this mode of learning students are encouraged to develop self reliance and confidence by way of self instructional study material supplemented by teacher support.  A student of distance learning could also seek employment or continue in his ongoing job during the course of education over a prolonged time frame.

ISMR has recently introduced a variety of Post Graduate and Diploma Management Programmes tailor made to the needs of industry.  The programmes have been carefully designed by the Institute faculty, providing a rigorous grounding in traditional disciplines of management keeping the National and International perspectives in view.
